Clara


FR. Depuis son plus jeune âge, j’ai photographié ma soeur cadette, Clara. Pendant plusieurs années, je tente de capturer l’évolution de son visage, visage familier et pourtant toujours étranger. Véritable métamorphose au quotidien, j’observe, attentive aux transformations qui s’opèrent devant moi. Pour la faire participer aux images, je lui raconte des histoires dans lesquelles son imagination peut prendre place. En la photographiant, je revisite mon enfance.


EN. Since she was a child, I've photographed my younger sister Clara. For several years, I've been trying to capture the evolution of her face, a face that is familiar yet always foreign. A veritable metamorphosis on a daily basis, I watch, attentive to the transformations taking place in front of me.  To involve her in the images, I tell her stories in which her imagination can play a part. By photographing her, I revisit my own childhood.
